Lauren Palmer

Physiotherapist

Lauren is a compassionate and dedicated physiotherapist with over a decade of experience across hospital, private practice, and elite sport settings. After graduating in London in 2014, she began her career at a major London teaching hospital, gaining broad experience through rotations such as Neurology & Neurosurgery, Respiratory, and Orthopaedics. She went on to work as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, developing her practice in post-operative rehabilitation, rheumatology, Pilates, and Women's Health.

During her time in the UK, Lauren worked with West Ham Ladies and West Ham Squad football teams, and provided physiotherapy support at prestigious sporting events including the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and the London Marathon.

Since moving to Australia, Lauren has spent the past eight years working in private practice and sport. For the past three years, she has also worked alongside a leading shoulder and elbow surgeon, managing a wide range of post-operative, non-operative, and complex shoulder presentations.

Lauren has a special interest in the connection between sleep, pain, and performance, and has undertaken additional training in these areas. She is also qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture (AACP member).

Her treatment approach combines evidence-based exercise therapy, manual techniques, and tailored injury management advice with a holistic focus on sleep, nutrition, mental health, and gut health. Lauren works collaboratively with her clients to achieve their goals, providing compassionate care and clear guidance throughout their recovery journey.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis, walking her Vizsla Nala, and discovering new restaurants. She’s also currently busy planning her wedding in Tuscany next year!
