Hamreena Singh

Physiotherapist

Hamreena is passionate physiotherapist joining us from Canada. She has completed her Bachelors of Science in Applied Biology followed by her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree here at the University of Melbourne. Over her time in placements, Hamreena garnered a real love and passion for helping people prevent degeneration and decline as they age. This led her to seek research into healthy ways of exercise that not only focus on muscular strengthening but also maintaining joint flexibility, balance, coordination and overall ease of movement. Additionally, Hamreena is Clinical Pilates trained and runs weekly group Pilates sessions both in clinic and on the rooftop for rehabilitating exercises tailored to your specific needs.

Hamreena is skilled in treating sports injuries, tendinopathies and exercise prescription. Her approach to treating patients is centered around holistic care and collaboration to achieve the patient' desired goals. Hamreena has experience working closely with local soccer and AFL clubs helping players stay fit during season and return to sport post injury.

Hamreena is qualified to take all Workcover, Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and bulk-billed EPC cases. An EPC is a care plan approved by your GP for an ongoing, chronic medical condition in which a designated number of sessions are covered by Medicare. Please consult with your GP if you are eligible for this plan, as we do not do take bulk-billed appointments for general cases.

Outside of physiotherapy, Hamreena enjoys learning new skills, cooking, hiking, Muy Thai and all things coffee.
