Looking for a bulk-billed physiotherapist?

At Rebound Sports Physiotherapy, we understand that high out of pocket expenses when you are injured can prevent you from receiving the high quality treatment you need. That's why our physiotherpaist,  Katharine Camobreco offers subsidised services for Medicare, TAC and WorkSafe patients.

Medicare

As part of the federal government’s chronic disease management program, you may be entitled to up to 5 Medicare funded allied health sessions per calendar year. These Medicare subsidised sessions can be used for physiotherapy as indicated by your GP. To find out if you qualify, discuss a team care agreement (formerly enhance primary care [EPC] agreement) with your GP. Once your referral is issued, contact us to book with Katharine for your Medicare funded physiotherapy sessions with a small co-payment of $10 per session. Note: Medicare rebates are available if you would prefer to see one of our other physiotherapists however the full fee is payable. We can process a claim on your behalf in the clinic to save you a trip to Medicare or lodging a claim through your my.gov account and the benefit will be returned to your debit card.

DVA

In accordance with the Department of Veteran Affairs White and Gold card programs, you can receive your physiotherapy covered under your referral without any gap charges. Simply mention your DVA white or gold at the time of booking with either Katharine and bring a copy with you to your consultation. Note: whether or not your consultation will be covered under your DVA white or gold card will depend on the nature of the condition and your referral. If you are unsure whether you are covered, please consult your referring doctor.

Transport Accident Commission (TAC)

Did you know that for traffic accidents occurring on or after 14th February 2018, there is no longer a medical excess requiring fulfillment before TAC covers the cost of your treatment? This means that once you have seen your GP and received approval for your claim, you can receive necessary physiotherapy treatment with without meeting a costly excess first. If it has been more than 90 days since your injury occurred or since you last received treatment, you will need to seek approval from TAC before your sessions. For sessions with no out of pocket expenses,  contact us to book your appointment with Katharine, bring your claim number with you and we’ll do the rest! Note: sessions with Ann and Lakshmi are available, however a gap fee applies for both the initial and follow up consultations.

WorkSafe

WorkSafe covers the cost of necessary physiotherapy treatment for work-related injuries. Once you’ve seen your GP and received approval for your claim, you can book in with Katharine for bulk-billed WorkSafe sessions. Just be sure to bring your claim number with you and we’ll handle the claim for you. If your employer is yet to pay their excess, you will need to either personally cover the cost of the appointment and seek reimbursement from your employer or have your accounts department contact us with confirmation of their agreement to pay the consult fees until the excess has been met. Note: For our other physiotherapists, a gap payment applies for each session.
